He then completed an internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, followed by a two-year Surgical Residency at Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago.
“My mission is to provide my patients with the latest treatments available to keep their feet and ankles healthy for a lifetime. I am proud to give the most advanced care in a friendly environment where patients feel right at home. I have suffered from foot problems myself, so I understand podiatry from both a doctor and patient perspective. It is important for me to put every patient at ease and share information that can improve the patient's quality of life. ”
When Dr. Ouderkirk is not treating patients, he spends time with his wife, Dana and twin daughters, Johanna and Elizabeth. With his family, he enjoys the outdoor sports of resort skiing, backcountry skiing, backpacking, and mountain biking.

Lorelei McCloskey, DPM
Dr. McCloskey is a Denver-trained Board Certified* Podiatric Surgeon. Dr.
McCloskey is also certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She
began her education at Santa Clara University, where she obtained her
Bachelor of Science degree. She attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College
of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where she was a recipient of the Scholl
Merit Scholarship and the Goren Scholarship. After graduating, she completed
her surgical residency at the Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Healthcare
System in Denver, focusing on diabetic foot infections and elective
forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. She began practicing at the Colorado
Clinics for the Foot and Ankle. Dr. McCloskey also participated in the
HealthONE Outreach program, providing care to patients in rural areas. She
relocated briefly to New York City, practicing for a short time before
returning home to Colorado.
Dr. McCloskey believes that a patient’s treatment plan should be as unique
as the patient. As such, she feels it is important to address each patient’s
individual needs and goals. Dr. McCloskey believes that the foot should not
be approached as an isolated unit; she favors a coordinated,
multi-disciplinary approach, and believes that all members of a patient’s
healthcare team should communicate and work in tandem to provide the best
care for the patient.
When she is not in the office or at the hospital, Dr. McCloskey enjoys
cooking, live music, traveling, and photography.
